  • I think your list is as judicious as such lists come. But I do think that to say that 10 is something we can't discuss is to make the discussion much more difficult. I agree, the immediate "we" can't discuss it: neither you (theannalog) nor I am a scholar of Islam or a Mutakallim.

  • I think the big caveat here is that they started at 62. This definitely might not apply to us younger folks, if we spend the next 40ish years eating "right". Also, the study didn't differentiate between saturated and the various types of unsaturated fats.
